Noted architectural historian Dr Michael Hall, author of the recently published book on the life and work of George Frederick Bodley, and of other works on Victorian architecture and the Gothic Revival, will deliver this year’s Dykes Bower Lecture, and will speak on ‘Squires in the slums: G.F. Bodley and the Eton Mission in Hackney Wick’. The lecture will be followed by an informal reception, a convivial end to the Society’s year.
