Guided walking tour by Rob Andrews, expert of York’s extraordinarily rich heritage of medieval churches. His tour will last about four hours including ample time for comfort breaks and lunch (not included in price).

The tour will visit – in this order – Holy Trinity, Goodramgate; All Saints, North Street; St. Olave and St Mary’s Abbey.

Rob will guide you through each site’s history and key features of interest, paying special attention to their place in the medieval city, their architectural history and evolution as unique liturgical spaces to the present day.

Arrangements

The walk will start outside King’s Manor, Exhibition Square, York YO1 7EP. Individual donations to the churches (not included) would be welcome.

Places are limited to 20 so booking is essential.
