Join us for a walking tour of some of the wonderful churches in and around Richmond, led by expert guide, Paul Velluet. Paul is a chartered architect and architectural historian, a Vice-President of The Ecclesiological Society, and President of the Richmond Local History Society. Highlights of the tour include the very fine Arts and Crafts church of St John-the-Divine, the recently re-ordered and restored sixteenth-century and later parish church of St Mary Magdalene, as extended by G.F. Bodley, and George Gilbert Scott’s St Matthias. We will pause briefly for lunch and finish with a visit to the beautiful church of St Peter’s, Petersham, which dates back to the thirteenth century.
