Historic England has published the 2017 Heritage at Risk Register. The Register includes a worrying 937 listed places of worship, some 6.3% of the total. Among those added this year are Hawksmoor’s St Anne’s, Limehouse, and John Price’s St George the Martyr, Bermondsey, which appears in Dickens’ “Little Dorrit”.
