In the Budget of 18 March 2015, the Chancellor announced a substantial increase to the money available for grants for repair of roofs and rainwater goods of listed places of worship. Fifteen million pounds was previously available, and this figure was increased to fifty million pounds. The money is provided by the government, and is not Lottery money.
